NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. – Police say a man died after he crashed a motorcycle in the parking lot of the Hudson Valley dealership where he’d just bought the bike.
The Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, with 318 curves in 11 miles, is America’s number one motorcycle and sports car road. The nearby Cherohala Skyway is quickly becoming number two with its remote 60 miles of scenic mountain highway. The area also has other roads less traveled, but just as exciting.

If you need to feed your biker habit, but it’s winter and you’re trapped in the driftless region, do like I did… Hop a plane to Miami, rent a Hog, and ride down to Key West.
